Dear Mr. President,

I would like to let you know that I feel that launching preemptive military strikes on Iraq (or any other nation) is not appropriate, advisable, or moral. While it may be true that they are planning on improving their military capacity to the point that they could pose a threat to us, I think that an unprovoked attack would be viewed by many people as evidence that the US deserves to be attacked. It would help to confirm our role as an adversary to be battled rather than a nation to be negotiated with and in the long run we would have more enemies and thus be less secure.
